Very Rare - Nearly impossible to find!
The Motor Drive Unit, powered by a wall A/C power supply (included), becomes a base for the Marushin 1948 Harley Davidson Panhead model engine.
A vertical driveshaft from the motor unit connects with the model engine's transmission.
A electric motor drives the driveshaft which in turn operates the engine.
There's even a small twist-grip "throttle" on the motor unit that allows the operator to 'rev' the engine between idle and higher RPM.
It's really amazing!
Marushin, unfortunately, no longer exists having been lost in a fire. In its short period of existence, the company became famous for their precision, operating engine models of the Harley Panhead and the Porsche 911 Carrera.
The Porsche engine kits are near impossible to find and cost 00+
The Harley engine has also become quite rare. If you have been lucky enough to find one, the model becomes even more fun and valuable with this optional Motor Drive Unit.
Note: this model is not a toy and assembly must be preformed by someone with more advanced modeling skills.
