Additional charges will be incurred depending on the value of the item. Please check the cost of shipping before bidding. I would grade this banknote as nice very fine. The banknote has light general wrinkling, a heavy central vertical fold and multiple additional vertical and horizontal light folds. The note also has light soiling and some minor roughness along the edges. There is a stain in the center at the end of the top signature which appears to be of an oily substance and goes through to the back. The note also has some graffiti above the date in the front. The corners of the note are intact with minimum rounding. The note has no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. A very desirable note to add to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.

    Description:
A beautiful very fine Banknote from the Ireland. This is the Central Bank of Ireland 10 shillings issued in January 3, 1962. The banknote is orange in color with light green and lilac underprint. The front of the note shows the image of Lady Hazel Lavery in an oval to the left. The back has the same color scheme as the front and depicts the head of a bearded man with a basket of fruit on top of his head and fish heads below the basket. Not certain what this image represents, but very interesting. The note has two signatures displayed on the front, which also displays the serial number, the denomination and the date. This particular note has the serial number I8P910652 shown in black twice on the front. The note has a watermark displaying what we believe is the head of a woman. Please carefully review the scans provided as they are part and parcel of our description.
